Well, I always thought that I would be a working mommy, like my mom had done. In highschool, I decided on my career path, psychology, and started my college career after graduation. About 2 years after I was into college, my brother and his wife had their first baby, Isabella. Danielle quit her job and never looked back. I knew right then what I REALLY wanted to be in life. I wanted to be a stay-at-home-mommy.
Fast forward a few years and here I am. A year ago, I would have NEVER imagined that we would be here. It wasn't until February 15, 2010 that we found out we were expecting. When we found out that we were due October 23, we decided that I would stay home through the holidays (9ish weeks) and return to work part-time. Well, that lasted all of like 3 weeks. Once Chris got his new job, he told me that I could stay home. I was ecstatic!
Natalie and I have been enjoying our time together for about 3 weeks now and we're loving it. I love being able to go at our own pace. I love being able to bring her into bed in the morning because we don't have to be anywhere... because we can. I love it! I love setting up playdates. I love visiting with other stay-at-home-mommies. I just LOVE being at home with our little girl! She is constantly evolving and doing new things and I don't want to miss one bit of it!
